Another activity of Rokkaku Project is participating in Ishinomaki Arts and Culture Festival. Usually, we share a booth with Sustainable Design Kobo Inc. to show some of the deer horn product that we produced. Mr. Mikami has always been there to support us during the event. He sometimes brings his vintage black-and-white photos of Kinkasan Island’s deers and monkeys. He took it all by himself when he was young. Visitors can see his works while listening to his stories of deers and the island. His stories and photographs move people in awe. In rare occasion, Mr. Mikami can be a professional model for deer horn jewelry too.

鹿角プロジェクトのもう一つの活動は、石巻芸術文化祭への参加です。
 通常は一般社団法人サステナブルデザイン工房と共同ブースを出展し、私たちが製作した鹿角製品の一部を展示しています。
三上さんにはイベント中ずっと応援していただきました。
三上さんは時々、金華山島の鹿や猿のビンテージの白黒写真を持ってきます。
若い頃にそれらの写真を全て自身で撮影しました。
来場者は鹿や島についての話を聞きながら作品を鑑賞することができます。
三上さんの物語と写真は人々に畏敬の念を抱かせます。
まれに、三上さんは鹿角ジュエリーのプロモデルになることもあります。
